Growing luxury mattress manufacturer looking for an experienced, ambitious wholesale manufacturer representative to build our New England territory. Ideal candidate will have established relationships with fine furniture dealers or luxury mattress stores in NH, VT, MA, RI, CT. Wholesale manufacturer's representatives in any furniture related field are welcome to apply - direct mattress sales experience is not required. Position requires a good balance between sales hunting and farming skills. Servicing existing accounts, product training, prospecting and establishing new points of distribution are the primary responsibilities. • Proven track record of sales success.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Experience with retail sales training in engaging and effective manner.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate with retailers, prospects, colleagues and management team to provide a high quality, solution focused service.
• Strategic relationship builder with keen negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, self-starter with good time management skills and experience managing a large territory.
• Travel required- 75%.
