RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Execute and maintain automated and manual tests for both software and hardware components.

·         Create and maintain Testing Requirements and Test Cases documentation.

·         Work with Engineering teams to determine root cause of issues found during testing or reported by customers.

·         Work with Operations, Quality and Technical Support teams to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Must be a US Person.

·         BS/Certification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

·          1-3 years of experience in hardware and software system testing, with a particular focus on industrial automation platforms such as PLC, DCS, SCADA.

·         Looking for a long-term career, with promotion opportunities.

·         Experience designing and building automated regression test routines and reports.

·         Experience creating and documenting manual regression test cases.

·         Experience creating detailed work instructions.

·         Demonstrate a detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases and create effective and focused testing plans.

VALUABLE PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Proficient programming in C, C++, C#, Python, and IEC 61131-3 Structured Text.

·         Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.

·         Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies and strategies as required to meet product specifications and customer expectations.

·         Experience working with lab equipment: Multimeter, Scopes, Function Generators, USB and GPIB interfaces and others to be considered.

·         Working knowledge of Agile development frameworks, such as SCRUM.

·         Working knowledge of source control tools: Git and SVN.

·         Familiarity with Operating Systems including MS Windows and Linux.

ADDITION DESIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

·         Working knowledge of industrial busses and protocols: Ethernet, SPI, I2C, PCI, and any number of legacy industrial IP and Serial protocols.

·         Familiarity with RTOS.

·         Experience with Codesys.

·         Experience with LabVIEW.
