    Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Trainer Manager to work in our Rexburg Administration Office. The trainer will oversee the training activities of the Credit Union and evaluate overall employee effectiveness and performance through the application of individual and group training techniques, programs and testing, consistent with the Credit Union's organizational priorities.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Develops training programs, procedures and curriculum for all new and existing employees. Determines instructional methods including: individual training, group instructions, classes, training events, video training, demonstrations, workshops, etc. Selects or develops training aids such as manuals, handbooks, visual aids, videos, tutorials, etc. All training and training materials will be in alignment with the Beehive strategic objectives and business plan.
    • Plans for and oversees new employee orientation sessions and on-the-job training, including credit union brand awareness and culture.
    • Provides training for new and existing employees, including in-branch trainings focused on job knowledge, proactive member service experience, cross-servicing, and teamwork.
    • Tracks the progress of trainees through routine tests, observation, and feedback from supervisors; evaluates the effectiveness of the current training.
    • Prepares and monitors the employee training budget.
    • Oversees the daily operations of department; hires, trains, directs, and evaluates employee performance within the department; recommends promotions/transfers and salary adjustments.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Two to five years of similar or related experience preferred.
    • A two-year college degree or greater preferred.
    • Must have excellent communication skills as work will involve motivating or influencing employees.
    • Knowledge of presentation software such as Prezi or PowerPoint; Microsoft Office programs; 10-key, and internal programs such as our data processor, the cross-servicing system, and PolicyTech is preferred.
