    Role Overview:

    The Quality Technician's function is to perform various inspection duties, create and collect inspection data, work closely with Engineering and suppliers to resolve issues, and maintain document control in accordance with AS9100 and ITAR requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    · Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measurement and test equipment that includes, but is not limited to: pin gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gage, profilometer, optical comparator, CMM, and GOM scanner.

    · Measure components and compare results to Engineering drawings that contain GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

    · Create, develop, and implement inspection processes based on customer specifications.

    · Create and run part measurement programs using and Calypso software.

    · Collaborate with various departments to resolve any issues found during product realization.

    · Assist with creating and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) such as calibration records, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking, and document control.

    · Create inspection documentation and collect and verify all data for customer data packet or CoC packet.

    · Identify and record non-conformances using various software.

    · Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

    Required Qualifications:

    · Read and comprehend engineering drawing requirements

    · Inspect parts per engineering drawing requirements

    · Complete inspection reports

    · Review and approve material and outside service inspection reports

    · Effectively communicate both in writing and verbal with internal departments and suppliers

    · Possess a working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

    · Experience working with various measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

    · Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Programming with Calypso software

    · Additive manufacturing experience

    · Measurement with structured blue light scanners

    · Past experience working for an AS9100 certified organization

    · Creating, implementing, updating, and maintaining quality management system documents

    · Creating and developing inspection plans
