    We are seeking a Facility Engineer responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of our gas turbine test facilities. This individual acts as a liaison between the facility department and engineering teams, ensuring that the facility meets the technical requirements for testing while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The role requires a blend of technical expertise in engineering and facility management, strong project management skills, communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.

    Responsibilities:

    · Coordinate with various stakeholders, including facility management, engineering teams, and external contractors.

    · Bridge the communication gap between the facility department and engineering teams.

    · Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

    · Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical specifications and requirements for test cell design

    · Analyze and document facility requirements, including space, utilities, safety features, and environmental considerations.

    · Support the execution of component and engine test activities. This includes design and construction of systems to support testing.

    · Support design reviews and coordinate with other disciplines in design, performance, controls, and system analysis to develop appropriate test systems

    · Collaborate with design, build and engineer teams to ensure the facility design aligns with industry standards and best practices.

    · Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing.

    · Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

    · Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.

    · Stay informed about advancements in gas turbine technology and facility design to incorporate relevant updates.

    · Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance once test cells are operational.

    Qualifications:

    · Experience in designing or building test cells is crucial for this role to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the specific challenges and requirements involved in such projects.

    · Knowledge of facility design, HVAC systems, utilities, and safety standards in industrial settings.

    · Familiarity with industry codes and regulations related to facility construction and gas turbine testing.

    · Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations applicable to industrial facilities, particularly those related to gas turbine testing.

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with engineering teams, facility management, vendors, and other stakeholders.

    · Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges during the design and construction phases.

    · Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to facility systems.

    In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
