This role is responsible for leading multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research and consulting services for our partnership, corporate, and business clients. Maintaining frequent client interaction, the Tax Manager prepares, reviews and plans for BUSINESS TAXES. Additionally, our ideal candidate will possess:

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE: As an experienced CPA, you'll put your bachelor's (or master's) degree to good use at BG. With at least 3 years of senior-level experience providing business tax solutions, you're accustomed to handling a wide variety of complex tax compliance issues. CLIENT-FIRST FOCUS: You'll use your customer service focus and passion for making a difference to develop new and nurture existing client relationships, perhaps even in a specialized industry or niche. You will fulfill a key role in the continued growth of BG's tax practice bynetworking, developing new client relationships, and seeking opportunities to add value to client relationships by familiarizing current clients with our other service offerings. LEADERSHIP: As an inspiring coach and mentor, you'll provide detail work paper review, training and direction to motivate and develop the capabilities of other accountants. SOLUTIONS: Use your exemplary research skills to examine various tax topics and effectively apply them to provide innovative, yet practical solutions customized for each client's unique business needs. TECHNICAL COMPETENCE: With a solid grasp on IRS rules and other regulations, you'll handle sophisticated challenges with confidence. These activities will include analyzingand reviewing the tax implications of mergers and acquisitions, reviewing returns for individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax clients including federal, state and local tax returns, estimating payments and extensions, and Federal and State tax audits. ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT: You'll naturally develop new engagements by expanding your network and cultivating relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources through civic, business community and professional activities. Taking ownership of your engagements will fulfill your desire to provide a stellar client experience and further develop your skills. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: You'll use your strong written and verbal communication skills and acute business acumen to prepare and present technically complex material to clients.
