    Location: Dazzling Nights™ - Orlando, Leu Gardens

    Position Type: Seasonal Part-time

    Timeline for Show:

    • Pre-Show Setup Dates: November 10th, 2025 - November 20th, 2025
    • Show Dates: November 24th, 2025 (Media Night)
    • November 28th - 30th (Opening Weekend)
    • December 4th - 7th
    • December 10th - January 4th, 2026
    • Post-Show Dates: January 6st, 2026 - January 9th, 2026

    General Job Summary:

    Concession Staff play a key role in executing food and beverage service during the event, with a focus on guest experience, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. Staff are responsible for operating the concession window, processing transactions, serving food and beverages (including beer and wine), and maintaining a clean and welcoming work environment. This role also assists with the setup and breakdown of concession areas, equipment staging, and inventory handling under the direction of the Concession Supervisor.

    Pre-Event Setup Summary (Build):

    Prior to opening night, Concession Staff assist in setting up their assigned concession tent(s). Responsibilities include unpacking supplies, setting up equipment and displays, stocking inventory, and assisting in preparing the service area for operational readiness in accordance with event standards. Tasks are performed under the direction of the Concession Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.

    Event:

    During event hours, Concession Staff are stationed at the service window to take guest orders, verify IDs for alcohol service, operate the POS system, and prepare and serve food and beverages. Staff are expected to follow proper sanitation and alcohol compliance procedures while providing prompt, friendly service in a high-volume, guest-focused environment. They should be comfortable operating equipment such as kegerators, frozen drink machines, and hot food stations.

    Post-Event Breakdown Summary:

    At the conclusion of the event, Concession Staff assist with dismantling and packing up their assigned concession tent(s). This includes cleaning, restocking, organizing, and securely storing supplies and equipment. Staff may also assist in returning equipment to the warehouse, participate in light inventory work, and ensure that work areas are cleaned and closed down in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, volunteers, and guests.
    • A customer service-driven mindset focused on delivering a positive guest experience.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented event environment.
    • Proficient in POS systems and basic math for transaction handling and sales reporting.
    • Able to speak, read, and write in English.
    • Physically capable of lifting, loading, and maneuvering concession equipment during setup and breakdown.
    • Ability to complete physically demanding tasks, such as standing and/or walking for long periods.
    • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temperatures).
    • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.
    • Ability to problem-solve and appropriately escalate issues as they are encountered in the field

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in food and beverage or concession operations
    • Familiarity with event-style food service and beer/wine handling
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment during setup and breakdown

    Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour plus tip pool. This position typically works a 35+ hour work week.
