Beezwax is seeking a Program Manager to join our team and assist in growing our business success.

We are looking for a highly competent client relationship manager, communicator, and problem solver who is familiar with the dynamics of a mid-size software development/technical consulting firm. The ideal applicant will be able to work in a client-facing role, and be able to thrive in a creative, entrepreneurial company.

DUTIES

• Getting new projects rolling, including discussions with potential clients, collaborating with developers on needs assessment, project scoping, estimating, timeline creation and proposal creation • Growing existing programs and working closely with Group Product Manager’s on setting Quarter-on-Quarter and Fiscal Year strategic growth targets • Serving as bridge between developer and client, facilitating communication and anticipating possible problems before they occur • Working on custom software development projects with a dynamic, growing team of software developers; this job is a combination of collaboration with and management of our developers, both local and remote • Maintaining overview of 10-15 projects for different clients; being accountable to track budget and development progress • Participating with the management team in strategic planning of company-wide infrastructural improvements and long-term objectives

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working directly with Fortune 100 client teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in managing and planning small to medium sized software projects
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to identify problems and propose solutions with consideration of all ramifications
• Willingness to commute to existing and potential clients in NY
• Experience with agile development methodology is a plus
• Familiarity helping run and grow a business is valuable
• Familiarity with the needs of different types of organizations and businesses is valuable, as we have clients of all sizes in various industries
• Hands-on experience with FileMaker Pro, BI development, web development and mobile apps are a plus
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in engineering, program/project management, account management and/or consulting
