Job Description

You will work directly with the founder of the company and fellow Marketing and Social Media interns to develop and execute Before Elixir’s PR strategy. You will get hands-on experience pitching to national media outlets, seeing your work published and read by thousands of people, and work on a large scale crowdfunding campaign. You will be an essential member of our team as we conduct a rebrand and launch three new products this summer. This position will require 10-15 hours/week. Responsibilities include:

• Create press releases for our company/product launch
• Reach out and pitch national media outlets and influencers
• Manage media and influencer relationships
• Assist the development of the marketing strategy and online campaigns
• Be a brand ambassador at experiential events, activations, and store demos

Qualifications

You're perfect for this position if you are:

• An excellent writer and master of hype
• A straight up hustler – you can make things happen, think outside of the box, are persistent, don't take no for an answer.
• Love pop culture, social media, and familiar with latest trends, who’s who
• Highly creative and a strategic thinker
• Excited to be a part of a fast paced startup in the food and beverage space
• Someone who can find ways to add value to any project and don’t need to be told what to do
• Flexible and want to enhance your business development, entrepreneurship and marketing skills
