  • Responsibilities

    Robbins Children's Programs is seeking a qualified and experienced Behavior Consultant with strong leadership experience to support and guide staff, children, and families within our preschool and after-school programs. The ideal candidate will be **** preschool certified, knowledgeable in child development and behavior support strategies, and skilled in coaching staff to implement positive, developmentally appropriate practices. The preferred shift is a split shift Monday through Friday 6:30-10:30 and return 1:30-5:30, however we are willing to consider a straight 8 hour shift for the right candidate.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide behavior consultation and support for children ages preschool through school-age

    • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans

    • Model and promote positive behavior guidance strategies in classroom and program settings

    • Coach, mentor, and support teaching staff through observation, feedback, and training

    • Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and outside service providers

    • Support program leadership in maintaining compliance with licensing and program standards

    • Assist with staff professional development related to social-emotional learning and behavior management

    • Participate in team meetings

    Qualifications:

    • Preschool certification

    • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in preschool and/or after-school programs

    • Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff coaching or supervision

    • Strong knowledge of positive behavior supports and developmentally appropriate practices

    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

    • Preferred Skills:

      • Experience working with children with diverse learning and behavioral needs

      • Training in social-emotional learning, trauma-informed care, or behavior intervention strategies

      • Ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and consistency
