Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist, BT/RBT
Pay: $20.00/hour
Hours: 35-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
Location: Woodbury, NJ
Travel Required: 10-25% (mileage reimbursement and overnight accommodations provided as applicable)

Behavior Interventions was founded with a mission to provide quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to our families in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve. To assist with our rapid expansion we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist us in locating and onboarding qualified team members.
Responsibilities: The Talent Acquisition Specialist, BT/RBT reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager. Duties include but are not limited to responsibilities listed below.
Implements recruitment procedures to meet current and future staffing demands for our Behavior Technician/RBT clinical team:
Develop and execute recruiting plans based on best practices including inclusive and equitable selection strategies.
Manage position advertisements through online platforms and creative sources.
Evaluate candidate resumes against position requirements.
Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
Schedules and conducts interviews with clinical candidates. Refers candidates for additional interviews or screening when applicable.
Extends offer letters and rejection letters.
Maintains accurate record of all pertinent applicant and interview data.
Represents the organization at career fairs, college presentations and other networking events.
Facilitates initial staffing for new hires in collaboration with staffing specialists:
Utilizes company HRIS software to track candidate progress and ensures new hires have submitted basic requirements to proceed with onboarding and staffing.
Identifies open referrals that meet candidate qualifications and scheduling criteria for potential placement.
Collaborates with staffing specialists to confirm placement and initiates onboarding procedures when conferred.
Provides general support to the human resources and talent management team:
Updates offer letters for internal candidates as applicable (ie for promotions, compensation increases, salary offers, etc)
Maintains current knowledge and supports the dissemination of information on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Interprets, communicates and advises on human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations under the guidance of the department supervisor and employee relations specialist.
Seeks opportunities to improve overall recruitment and staffing procedures. Streamlines procedures utilizing software programs established within the company (ie. ADP, G-Suite, CentralReach) or new programs. Submits or discusses improvement recommendations or proposals to leadership that includes pertinent information to support informed decision making.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, psychology or related field preferred, Highschool diploma or equivalent with 2 years of professional work experience
12+ months of human resource administration experience; preferably with staffing or recruitment.
Willingness to travel to company offices, colleges and other career fair event locations throughout New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania; mileage reimbursement and overnight accommodations provided as applicable. Travel time = < $25% of employee’s time
