We’re hiring a Behavioral Operations Specialist, a BCBA track role for master’s-level ABA professionals who are BCBA exam eligible. This unique position blends direct ABA therapy with operational responsibilities such as audits, staff training, performance review support, and family engagement. Once you pass your BCBA exam, you’ll receive an automatic promotion to BCBA with a salary increase and your own caseload.
Responsibilities
Direct Service and Data Quality (70%) • Provide 1:1 ABA sessions aligned with BCBA treatment plans • Collect, graph, and review data accurately • Complete same-day session notes with zero errors • Maintain at least 95% treatment fidelity during observations
Operational and Engagement Duties (30%) • Documentation Audits: Review notes daily, correct issues within 24 hours, and coach staff • Training and Coaching: Mentor new RBTs through modeling, competency check offs, and quarterly refreshers • Performance Support: Compile fidelity scores, attendance data, and note quality metrics; conduct skills observations for staff evaluations • Staff Engagement: Lead quick check ins, foster recognition, and organize monthly team events • Family Engagement: Conduct parent check ins and training sessions under BCBA supervision to review progress and home strategies
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field • Three or more years of direct ABA service experience • Completed BACB coursework and BCBA exam eligible within 12 months • RBT credential or ability to obtain within 30 days • Familiarity with Motivity, CentralReach, or similar platforms • Current CPR/First Aid, background clearance, and TB test
