Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Care and Assistance: Help residents with personal care and daily activities, fostering their independence and dignity.
- Behavioral Support: Provide individualized behavioral care and emotional support, building strong relationships with residents and helping them navigate challenges.
- Safety and Crisis Intervention: Ensure a safe living environment, respond calmly and effectively to any crisis situations, and implement intervention strategies when necessary.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document resident progress and behavioral changes, ensuring clear communication with the care team.
- Supportive Services: Offer compassionate emotional support to residents, empowering them to live with confidence and well-being.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of caregiving experience.
* 1-3 years of experience working in behavioral health settings.
- Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to remain calm, mature, and composed during challenging situations.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
* A collaborative team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Physical Requirements:
* Ability to spend long periods on your feet and move quickly in response to resident needs.
* Must be accurate, dependable, and thorough in all assigned tasks.
Additional Requirements:
- Tuberculosis (TB) certificate as required by the state.
- First Aid and CPR certifications.
- State-required criminal background check, including fingerprint clearance (LIC 508 and LIC 503).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
