About the Role:

Ability Avenues in Golden Valley, MN is looking for a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (Level 2 Provider) to join their growing team. Responsibilities:

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA or senior clinician

Provide direct ABA therapy services to clients in home, community, or clinic settings

Collect accurate and consistent data on client progress, behaviors, and skill acquisition

Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills

Utilize positive reinforcement strategies and evidence-based techniques during sessions

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent support

Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in compliance with agency standards

Requirements:

Experience working as a Behavior Technician, DSP, paraprofessional, or in a related human services role

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Familiarity with ABA principles, discrete trial training (DTT), and naturalistic teaching strategies

Strong data collection and documentation skills

Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in dynamic or challenging situations

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations in the Golden Valley, MN area
