This is the perfect role for former or current teaching assistants looking to grow in the field of education and behavioral health.
As a Behavior Technician, you'll work directly with children diagnosed with autism or developmental delays, using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social skills, daily living skills, and more. No ABA experience? No problem—we provide comprehensive paid training and support for certification.
What You’ll Do:
Implement fun, goal-based activities during sessions with children
Use positive reinforcement to encourage learning and skill development
Collect simple data to track progress
Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members
Work in schools, clinics, homes, or community settings

Experience working with children (classroom, tutoring, camp, etc.)
High school diploma or higher (some college preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills

Technical Qualifications:
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRASPORTATION
High school diploma or equivalent
BA/BS or AA (with coursework in psychology or a related field)
Experience with kids is necessary if you do not have experience in the field or a degree in a related field (psychology, child development, education, etc)
Flexible with work schedule to accommodate potential needs during M-F 2pm-8pm peak hours
Spanish speaking is preferred but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge in ABA strategies or a high willingness to learn
