    Behavioral Assistance (BA) – Part-Time / Per Diem

    Location: New Jersey Position Type: Part-Time / Per Diem Schedule: Evening and Weekend Hours Required

    Position Summary

    We are seeking compassionate and motivated Behavioral Assistants (BA) to provide supportive behavioral services to youth and families throughout New Jersey. The Behavioral Assistant will work with children, adolescents, and young adults between the ages of 4 and 21 in home, school, and community-based settings.

    The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and committed to helping youth develop positive behavioral, emotional, and social skills.

    Responsibilities

    Provide behavioral support services to youth ages 4–21

    Implement individualized treatment and behavioral support plans

    Assist clients in developing coping, communication, social, and daily living skills

    Support positive behavior management strategies

    Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

    Collaborate with families, schools, and treatment team members

    Attend required trainings and supervision sessions

    Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following fields:

    Social Work

    Psychology

    Criminal Justice

    Sociology

    Counseling

    Human Services

    or a related field

    Experience working with children, adolescents, or behavioral health populations preferred

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

    Ability to pass background and credentialing requirements

    Schedule Availability

    Part-time and per diem opportunities available

    Must be available for evening and weekend hours

    Flexible scheduling based on client needs

    Preferred Skills

    Experience with behavioral interventions

    Crisis management and de-escalation skills

    Ability to engage effectively with diverse families and communities
