    We are a small but rapidly growing outpatient mental health and psychiatric care clinic in Rockville, Maryland. Our multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and support staff provides compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals and families.

    Our services include:

    Individual and group therapy

    Psychiatric evaluations and medication management

    Integrated behavioral health and wellness programs

    We are seeking a proactive and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a collaborative team, and strengthen community partnerships to expand access to care.

    Responsibilities

    Clinic Operations

    Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows

    Supervise and support staff including therapists, psychiatric NPs, and administrative team members

    Coordinate psychiatric care services (medication management, follow-ups, documentation)

    Ensure full compliance with Maryland behavioral health regulations, HIPAA, and DEA requirements

    Manage budgets, expenses, vendor relationships, and supplies

    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient satisfaction, visit volume, and financial performance

    Oversee insurance verification, billing, collections, and credentialing processes

    Collaborate with leadership to streamline workflows and enhance patient experience

    Community Outreach

    Conduct outreach to hospitals, group homes, schools, primary care offices, and community organizations

    Build and maintain referral networks and professional partnerships to increase access to services

    Represent the clinic at community events, mental health fairs, and local networking meetings

    Partner with healthcare providers, educators, and social services to coordinate care

    Collaborate on marketing and outreach initiatives to promote the clinic’s programs

    Qualifications

    Required

    Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Business, or related field

    3–5 years of experience managing operations in a behavioral or mental health setting

    2+ years of supervisory experience (clinical and/or administrative staff)

    Knowledge of psychiatric care workflows, including medication management and provider scheduling

    Familiarity with insurance billing, credentialing, and revenue cycle processes

    Experience with EHR systems and performance reporting

    Understanding of Maryland behavioral health regulations and compliance standards

    Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

    Preferred

    Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MSW, or related)

    Experience in community outreach or partnership development

    Prior experience in small-clinic or startup environments

    Knowledge of integrated care and value-based healthcare models

    Must-Have Skills

    Proven success managing and growing an outpatient mental health or psychiatric clinic

    Strong leadership and team-building ability

    Experience building community referral relationships (schools, hospitals, group homes)

    Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

    Ability to manage clinic operations end-to-end with attention to detail

    Commitment to patient-centered, ethical behavioral healthcare
