Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinician (LPCC, LISW, or RN – Behavioral Health)
Location: Fully Remote (Telecommute) – Must hold Ohio independent licensure (LPCC or LISW) or RN with Behavioral Health experience. RNs with compact licensure covering Ohio will also be considered.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST preferred. Hiring Manager is open to part-time candidates but prefers full-time availability.
Overview:
This position supports the Behavioral Health team in providing clinical expertise, care coordination, and patient advocacy. The clinician will engage members, assess needs, and develop strategies to improve overall behavioral health outcomes while ensuring appropriate use of resources.

Key Responsibilities (Top 8–10):
Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans
Provide telephonic and/or virtual behavioral health support to members
Coordinate care with providers, facilities, and community resources
Monitor member progress and adjust care strategies as needed
Document assessments, interventions, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards
Support members in overcoming barriers to care and achieving treatment goals
Collaborate with internal team members on case reviews and care planning
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, policies, and licensure requirements
Required Qualifications:
Independent Ohio Licensure: LPCC, LISW, or RN with behavioral health experience (Compact RN license with Ohio eligibility accepted)
Minimum of 2–3 years of direct behavioral health experience (clinical, care management, or related role)
Strong assessment, care planning, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a team
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in managed care, utilization management, or care coordination
Familiarity with UHG/Optum systems and policies
Additional behavioral health certifications or specialized training
