Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Operations Manager to join our outpatient mental health and substance use clinic. In this role, you will lead and optimize operational systems and processes, support organizational growth, and play a key role in achieving and maintaining accreditation. This position requires a strong background in healthcare operations, a proven track record of improving performance, and the ability to ensure full compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, deep knowledge of healthcare operations and financial management, and demonstrated success in scaling teams and systems within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
Oversee all operational aspects of the outpatient mental health and substance use clinic
Lead efforts toward accreditation (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF, or similar), including preparation, implementation, and ongoing compliance
Develop and execute strategic and operational goals to support growth and service expansion
Implement systems, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency, quality of care, and profitability
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations (HIPAA, licensing, etc.)
Collaborate with clinical leadership to align operations with patient care standards and outcomes
Analyze financial data, manage budgets, and develop forecasts to guide decision-making
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, compliance, and growth
Lead, develop, and scale administrative and operational teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related healthcare field (required)
Minimum of 3–5+ years of operations management experience in a healthcare setting (required)
Proven track record of improving operational performance and scaling teams in a clinical environment
Experience with healthcare accreditation processes (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF) strongly preferred
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards
Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiency
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver measurable results
