Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) licensed in Nevada to work with our outpatient facilities. 

Whether you join as a W2 Employee or an Independent Contractor, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, hours, and size of caseload.

Service areas incorporate

• Henderson, Las Vegas

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients at both the Henderson and Las Vegas areas.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Job Types

• Full-Time
• W2 Billable Hourly or 1099 Independent Contractor available

Requirements

• Licensed in Nevada by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.
• Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1 year Geri Psych Experience.

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
• Excellent written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.
• Being bilingual is a plus!
