    Four Pillars Recovery is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT's) to join our team in Pinetop, AZ.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work collaboratively with the nursing team in administering care to patient who are receiving treatment for acute withdrawal. These activities include:

    • Support patient admission, orientation, and daily treatment activities
    • Monitor patient behavior, whereabouts, and safety precaution
    • Assist with hygiene and daily living care as needed
    • Provide therapeutic support and use approved crisis de-escalation interventions
    • Document observations and interventions accurately in the EMR
    • Communicate patient concerns to the clinical team promptly
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
    • Oversee clients care and treatment schedules
    • Promote a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment
    • Responsible for telephones and answering incoming inquiries regarding agency.
    • Assist in case management activities to coordinate care across various services
    • Complete all charting, notes, and documentation before the end of the shift

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • High school diploma, GED or 1 year work experience
    • A valid AZDPS Finger Print Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one prior to your start date

    SKILLS :

    • Understanding of substance use disorders, withdrawal symptoms, and detox protocols
    • Knowledge of co-occurring psychiatric conditions and behavioral responses
    • Ability to recognize signs of deterioration or emergency and alert clinical team
    • Proficient in crisis intervention and the use of de-escalation techniques
    • Therapeutic communication skills including active listening, empathy, and boundary-setting
    • Ability to facilitate basic therapeutic groups under supervision
    • Cultural sensitivity and awareness of how background influences treatment engagement
