    BELAMI ECOMMERCE IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A STAFF ACCOUNTANT II WHO IS HIGHLY DRIVEN, A TEAM PLAYER, AND ENJOYS WORKING IN A FAST PACED, DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT. In this role you will assist in the management of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, monthly close, and sales tax filings.


    DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS HERE'S SOME OF THE SPECIFIC COOL STUFF YOU WILL DO:

    • General Ledger: Performs activities related to the maintenance of general ledger accounts, including account reconciliations, researching discrepancies, and making correcting journal entries.
    • Cash/Banking: Monitors and coordinates daily review of cash and bank activity and performs bank reconciliations.
    • Credit Cards: Monitors and coordinates weekly review of credit card activity and performs reconciliations.
    • Resolution: Identifies and resolves issues that arise from close, vendor pricing issues, etc.
    • Closing: Ownership for key sections of the close process including analyzing key accounts. Works with the team to ensure close deadlines are met.
    • Tax Compliance: Assists in federal, state and local tax compliance, including sales tax, income tax and property tax, as applicable.
    • Other Compliance - Ensures proper documentation and record keeping. Items include support for 1099s, state registrations, and other similar items.
    • Assisting Accounting Supervisor and Accounting Manager as needed with ad hoc projects

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED:

    • Minimum of a BA in business (accounting focus preferred)
    • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting department
    • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel with high competency in accounting information systems
    • JD Edwards system experience is a plus
    • Highly professional, driven, independent and responsive
    • Highly organized and detail oriented with strong ability to multitask
    • Maintains high degree of confidentiality and integrity
    • Highly analytical with ability to solve complex problems related to financial concepts
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
