    Belcampo is seeking a Food Delivery Service Kitchen Chef/General Manager (GM) at our San Francisco, CA., location to successfully manage and lead all Compadres (employees) and functions including inventory, purchasing, labor and food cost controls, and maintaining sanitation.  You'll also take lead in location hiring, performance coaching, counseling, training, and talent development.

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • Are naturally kind and maintain an optimistic demeanor with a personal commitment and passion for delivering the highest level of service to fellow Compadres and our customers - we are customer centric and make people happy.

    • Minimum 3 years experience supervising a team of cooks and dishwashers in a high-volume restaurant or commissary kitchen  environment; cooking experience in a high volume service environment.

    • Advanced level knowledge of health and safety rules and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements.

    • P&L and financial reporting experience.

    • Leadership, coaching, and training skills.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills - fluency in Spanish preferred.

    • Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS, Google Suite, and Windows/MacOS.

    WHAT YOU'LL MOSTLY DO:

    • Ensure timeliness of food production, using batch-cooking methods to maintain quality and freshness of product - work the service line during peak service hours.
    • Maintain food cost while ensuring we deliver on Belcampo high quality standards.
    • Manage purchasing and inventory controls for kitchen.
    • Adhere to Belcampo Meat Company food ethos and guidelines and Health Department regulations.
    • Perform related duties and projects as assigned.

    YOU'LL LIKELY DO SOME OF THIS:

    • Must be able to sit, stand, reach with arms and hands, bend and stoop, kneel and crouch more than 50% of the time.
    • Lifting requirements range from 10 to 25 lbs. typically no more than 20% of the time.
