JOB PURPOSE
This restaurant Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, glassware, cutlery, and kitchenware. This person is also responsible for overall cleanliness of the dining room, kitchen, restrooms and office, especially sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Washing pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc., then putting clean items away
- Sweeping and mopping
- Waste removal
- Organizing walk-in and freezer, consolidating containers
- Basic food preparation and proper food rotation
- Assist in general tasks as specified by Chefs & General Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year dishwashing experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This positions requires an employee who can work standing for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
