    Job Description

    NOW HIRING!!! Sales Trainer

    BELDON, an award winning, 4th generation roofing company based in San Antonio, is looking for a home improvement Sales Trainer to identify and monitor all training needs in the organization and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs.

    This is a full-time salaried position with a starting salary of $65,000.00! AND…your salary may be commensurate with your experience and skill set!

    SKILLS

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
    • Exquisite communication and people skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a TEAM
    • Ability to problem solve when faced with challenges

     

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reviews existing 10-step training programs: suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of the company, or the industry
    • Performs ride-a-longs.
    • Coordinates with the HR Department for hiring and onboarding. Primary responsibility is that of the trainer, and HR will implement it.
    • Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
    • Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
    • Identifies problems and opportunities, such as operational changes or industry developments, that training could improve.
    • Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
    • Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.
    • Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to the approved training budget.
    • Coordinate training for various programs and opportunities
    • Prepares and implements training budget.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

     

    EXPERIENCE

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
