Product Management Intern Belkin 28 reviews - Playa Vista, CA Part-time, Internship Job Summary: The Product Management Intern provides daily support to the Product Management team in the development of global products for a particular product line. Specific responsibilities include: Assist in developing complete product development deliverables and ensure they are met, i.e. Product Value Proposition, Business Case Proposals, Sell-In Decks, Reporting etc. Manage product SKU creation by utilizing the companys product lifecycle management tool, Agile. Support in driving the execution of packaging, marketing collateral, training material and enhanced web content creation through the Marketing Department Perform ongoing market research through direct customer contact, store visits and online market analysis to monitor competitors and industry trends, pricing strategies, and emerging technologies Conduct thorough, accurate, exhaustive evaluations on competitive products. Understand the channels in which Belkin sells its products through (Retail, E-commerce, and B2B). Understand where our products sell through and what our top accounts are for assigned product line as well as sell-through information. Assist with sales training and product positioning information as they relate to product, competitors, and the marketplace. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure newly developed products are manufactured to the highest quality and deadlines are met. Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support ISO system. Comply with Health and Safety requirements of Belkin. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Understand and follow company rules and regulations. Perform all other duties as assigned and required. Education and Experience Requirements: Enrolled in a 4-year program majoring in Business Management or Marketing Successful in a fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, prioritization of multiple tasks under strict deadlines, and the ability to identify problems and work towards solutions Candidates with exceptional analytical, technical, and problem solving skills are encouraged to apply.
