    Based in Cleveland, OH and with ten years in business, our client is an emerging growth software company striving to become the "Plaid" of benefits claims data.  They focus on simplifying benefits management, saving time, increasing revenue, and enhancing overall benefits delivery.

    As a result of their continued growth, they are seeking a Business Development Manager who can immediately make an impact on new client acquisition. The successful sales candidate has experience in technology / software sales, sales strategy, hunting and closing deals. Subject matter experience.

    This is primarily a remote role, with in person team interaction as needed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create and deliver integrated call and email prospecting campaigns focused on growing the pipeline of qualified leads.
    • Manage the sales relationship from opportunity creation and to deal close.
    • Work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing and CEO on sales strategy and execution.
    • Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met.
    • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.
    • Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients.
    • Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.
    • Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience in third-party administration, benefits administration, or employee benefits technology.
    • Proven record of prospecting, growing and managing client relationships.
    • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
    • Exceptional project management skills
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience in Hubspot CRM

    COMPENSATION

    • Market competitive OTE 60/40 split
