    Our client, a premier B2B/B2C supplier of products for the luxury leisure and travel industry (Recreation Vehicles), is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing, focused on eCommerce. This is a newly established role due to the explosive growth of the RV industry and our client’s success with new product development and new client acquisition.

    Our client has been very successful in B2B distribution sales throughout its existence, and especially over the last 18 months.  As part of their expansion and interest in serving the aftermarket segment, The Director of Digital Marketing will focus on the implementation, ongoing management and strategic direction of new B2C eCommerce initiatives.  Our client is already selling directly via their website (Shopify), however they want to accelerate B2C eCommerce via Amazon, eBay and other large retail distributors.

    Channels and tools to drive growth will include, but are not limited too: Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook/Instagram, eCommerce optimization, SEO, and CRM. The Digital Marketing Manager will also partner with an external creative agency focused on videography and photography, creative production, and website feature development.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own development, execution, budget management, and reporting/optimization for paid media campaigns across channels including but not limited to Google, Facebook/Instagram, Amazon, and more

    • Drive and support ongoing eCommerce adoption and expansion through Shopify, Amazon, eBay, etc.

    • Implement and execute ongoing Social Media strategy

    • Coordinate and execute B2B and B2C content strategy across all platforms including Social, Web, Email, Product Descriptions, PR / Trade Press.

    • Implement SEO best practices for content and site optimization.

    • Lead the execution of digital analytics tracking and reporting to reveal insights for maximizing conversion and ROI, and to inform key decisions across multiple channels/customer touch points.

    • Continuously review active campaigns and campaign opportunities with our Marketing partners for areas of improvement and new opportunities, working with these vendors and internal analysts to uncover key insights.

    • Assist in the development of our client’s brand and product marketing strategies.

    • Infrequent car travel to HQ is potentially necessary to meet key executive sponsors, SME’s, and interact with product offerings.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or similar discipline

    • 5-7+ years of Digital Marketing experience with a focus on paid marketing channels and eCommerce.  Experience with optimizing for Amazon is a significant plus.

    • Experience in analyzing key digital marketing performance metrics required

    • Digital Marketing experience in a B2B product oriented environment; with B2C exposure also preferred

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Able to develop collaborative relationships internally and externally

    • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and a high degree of initiative

    • Comfortable adapting quickly to support the needs of the business as focuses shift

    • Effective management of multiple priorities
