Our client is a 100% employee-owned Registered Wealth Advisor (RIA) based in Cleveland, Ohio. They are seeking a self-motivated, high integrity individual with entrepreneurial drive to join their growing firm as a Senior Wealth Advisor (SWA). The Advisor will be responsible for building and cultivating a book of business as leading & mentoring junior team members in one of their satellite offices: Columbus, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Ann Arbor, MI; Buffalo, NY; Indianapolis, IN; Louisville, KY.
Their brand is nationally recognized via expert guest analysis on well know business TV shows, via social media, and also regular podcast production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver compelling educational presentations to prospective clients
- Navigate prospective clients from the introductory phase all the way across the finish line
- Present planning and investment solutions and recommendations to clients
- Participate as a key member of the planning committee in shaping the firm’s planning process
- Actively cultivate relationships with clients and prospects through proactive communication
- Develop new business and revenue generation ideas for existing clients or prospects such as insurance and estate planning strategies
- Investigate and implement sophisticated strategies for HNW clients and business owners
Manage clients’ portals and financial plans and respond to any aggregation or user issues that arise - Work closely with senior management to execute on various growth initiatives
- Operate financial software to provide asset allocation, performance reports, etc.
- Assist operationally with the onboarding of new clients
- Prepare and mail introduction packages with an engagement letter, document request, and Wealth Questionnaire
- Enter client information into Comprehensive Financial Planning Software
- Interact and correspond with clients on documentation and website issues
- Assist clients in aggregating their accounts into the system
- Generate Wealth Plans
- Present concise and direct planning solutions and recommendations to clients
- Create and deliver presentations summarizing the Wealth Plans for client meetings
- Prepare and provide annual reviews to clients
- Provide weekly updates on the status of the Wealth Planning process
- Assist operationally with the implementation of recommendations
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with increasing client facing responsibility
- Must be able to work in a team-first, collegial, and results-oriented environment
- Ability to conduct dynamic meetings with clients or prospects, with a focus on delivering a top-notch experience
- Superior verbal and written communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in eMoney and Microsoft Office 365
Preferred but not required
- Advanced designation such as: CFP, CPA, or CFA
- Portable book of business
- Strong local connections with centers of influence
