    Director of Digital Strategy:

    Our client is a national leader in the industry of deregulated energy. They are a proven business with over 17 years of consistently profitable operations.  While extremely successful at direct outbound sales, they are seeking a Director of Digital Strategy to build and lead a marketing organization in collaboration with sales and executive management. This is truly a "greenfield" opportunity for a digital pro with demonstrated experience in B2B inbound marketing, lead generation, and B2C eCommerce strategy.  Well funded and poised for massive growth, we are seeking a self-starter, an aggressive business minded person, and someone who wants to be an entrepreneur...not just "fill a job."  This position will report directly to the owners of the company.

    The Director of Digital Strategy will be responsible for the overall leadership and direction of our client's digital marketing, presence, growth, and development. This opportunity is a digital start up within a long running accomplished sales organization. It will be well funded with a long-term vision. This position will use their expertise and contacts within the industry to build a team responsible for successfully implementing a digital vision. This position will be responsible for results created within a flexible budget and timeline that will be created by the individual and ownership.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create digital marketing strategies using organic and paid search, social media, reputation management, and email marketing within various markets, including B2C and B2B.
    • Recruit and develop a team of designers, developers, and marketers to work productively with the existing sales teams for the overall digital strategy.
    • Comfortable in owning the project and taking responsibility for the team. There will be expectations and KPIs that require reporting and progress to ownership.
    • Oversee the development of their pricing portal and integration into current systems.
    • Actively monitor their industry’s web presence to provide insights and suggestions for future projects and enhancements.
    • Enhance content across their various portals that will successfully sell their offers to the customer.
    • Have a keen knowledge of what to do and not to do in the digital space while keeping up on the ever-changing trends.
    • Demonstrate ability to understand how sales is talking. Translate human voices into digital.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 7-10 years of experience in SEO, site content, paid search, and management. Online Market Strategy, SEO, Organic and Paid Search, PPC, CPC, and Reputation Management
    • Proven history of recruiting and managing teams.
    • Proven ability to function well in a collaborative environment
    • Strong project management skills, ability to effectively manage others while multi-tasking.
    • Must have experience in overseeing and contributing to content, SEO, development, API integration.
    • Motivated to achieve results that translate into monetary incentives and financial bonus’.
    • Self-starter that can provide insights, suggestions, and opportunities to improve and enhance our online presence.
    • Solid analytical skills and business acumen
    • Ability to learn internal systems, processes and additional software/web-based applications
    • Self-motivated, resourceful with a creative mindset
