Our client (WAY Interglobal Network) is a premier supplier of building materials, products, electronics and appliances to the Recreational Vehicle (RV) Industry. They are an exclusive dealer for several well known electronics and appliance brands, as well as unique and proprietary industry leading solutions. Their principals have over 50 years experience in building, distribution and sourcing.
They are seeking a Marketing Director who will be responsible for all marketing, branding, and eCommerce related activities. This is a newly created position driven by the primary goal to significantly improve their digital presence, eCommerce capabilities, and overall brand positioning. This is a hands-on opportunity that requires previous experience in a similar role, and for someone who has proven they can be creative with available resources. The successful candidate should have significant content marketing and eCommerce experience and be comfortable leveraging data driven insights to confidently present ideas to the executive management team. Experience in a mixed B2B/B2C product distribution environment is highly preferred, and any exposure to the RV industry would be very helpful.
Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee all aspects of the marketing functions of the organization
Own both the strategy development and execution of all marketing initiatives, leveraging both internal and external resources as available and necessary
Oversee the strategy and execution of all our client's digital properties
Develop a plan for evaluating and implementing eCommerce initiatives
Digital properties (web sites)
Develop and manage marketing initiatives with 3rd party channels (Ebay, Amazon, eTrailer, etc.)
Lead all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms and integrate those into POC and print materials
Produce Videos and other product photography assets
Monitor that all campaigns are staying on track and analyze the results
Implement SEO/PPC initiatives, plans, manage budgets
Develop presentations and supporting materials to present new initiatives to leadership, prospects & clients
Identify KPI’s and metrics that will measure the success of the marketing programs deployed; Develop measuring system for determining the success of each marketing program
Researching, understanding, analyzing industry trends
Maintain editorial control on all marketing ventures that are released on behalf of the company
Requirements:
4-6 years in an executional based marketing role, driving brand awareness using both digital and traditional marketing techniques
Working knowledge of CRM, website CMS, basic HTML, web-based programs such as an email marketing client
Must be knowledgeable with search engine optimization and other online marketing strategies
Strong strategic planning and tactical implementation experience in marketing across various outlets including web-based, traditional, multi-media, etc.
Experience developing online video content
Ability to understand the competition and industry ecosystem, along with our client’s product line, to influence product and business development decisions
Must be resourceful
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and prioritize
