    Our client is a premier supplier of appliances, electronics, and building materials to the Recreational Vehicle (RV) Industry. They have in house brands that provide unique and innovative products and are also an exclusive dealer for several well-known electronics and appliance brands. With over 50 years of experience in designing, sourcing, and distribution, the business is established and growing rapidly.  As a result this is a newly added position to create a deeper focus on building the infrastructure (e.g. team, systems, and processes) to scale.

    They are seeking to add a new individual to full the role Supply Chain Planner Buyer. This role is central and key to their supply chain strategy. Our client is looking for someone that has the talent and ability to lead and establish supply chain best practices. Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to establish a supply chain strategy, balance short term priorities with improvement efforts, and exceptional information analysis skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within our Global supply chain.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design and establish inventory program management & metrics, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
    • Envision, design, and implement systems and procedures to effectively plan future demand and manage existing inventory.
    • Drive best practices in reporting, inventory parameters, reduction and reserve percentage measurements, Product Life Cycle management
    • Key leader in defining requirements, choosing, and implementing ERP/MRP in the short-term future
    • Effectively integrate sales, financial and supply chain teams to optimize inventory and cash flow
    • Plan and execute procurement of materials from global suppliers
    • Maintain strong working relationships and communications with manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries
    • Proactively report product availability issues
    • Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment
    • Analyze and manage product lists, proactively curate our product catalog (Adding new products and obsoleting old product)
    • Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking
    • Supplier Management: Assist as necessary RFQ, Cost saving initiatives, Negotiations, Supplier relationship/evaluation with the CEO
    • Provide support to Customer Service, Sales team, Product Management with business and product strategy
    • Complete special projects and assignments as requested


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain or minimum 5 years relevant experience. Certifications are beneficial
    • Minimum of 3 years Supply Chain (planning & procurement) experience
    • Ability to design, articulate and execute a supply chain strategy
    • ERP/MRP supply chain experience. ERP implementation and project management are beneficial
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient on Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
    • Commitment to excellence and high standards
    • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and
    • committees
