Job Summary:
Bella Santé Spas is searching for a sharp, energetic, fun, and experienced Spa Director to join our dynamic team. The Spa Director will be a leader and direct report for all location-based Bella Santé employees. This includes close mentoring, coaching, guiding, and training, as well as providing the necessary tools and materials for every employee to succeed per their job description. The Spa Director is responsible for maintaining outstanding standards of guest service and efficient operating of the reception desk and appointment book, as well as overall functions of the spa, including operational issues.
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
This position will be directly responsible for managing all employees at the spa location.
Ensures service standards are kept at a high level for guests by maintaining the standards set in Bella Santé Spas SOPs, service standards and CORE Values
Assesses all employees' progress continually, trains/mentors’ employees with positive reinforcement and disciplines fairly and consistently.
Provides excellent guest service and monitors guest feedback. Supervises and follows up on guest requests and comments.
Ensures fiscal responsibility through efficient scheduling of staff.
Ensures that financial goals are attained by developing and implementing retail sales plan.
Develops and maintains accurate maintenance procedures and checklists through routine preventative maintenance and repair.
Creates a team of service providers to meet all aspects of professionalism and service demands.
Ensures appropriate Spa supervisory coverage through use of a Manager on Duty (MOD) system.
Specifies and controls efficient usage of professional products for all services by completing a service cost analysis using an inventory control system.
What You’ll Need:
Previous experience in Spa strongly preferred.
A minimum of four (4) years of managerial and/or project management experience strongly preferred.
Flexible, strategic team player with high integrity and ethical standards
High Emotional Intelligence. Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure well, self-motivated, and very detail-oriented.
Proficient in spa software (Harms Millennium) and Microsoft Office products a plus
Knowledge of professional spa services and treatments.
Knowledge of retail operations and inventory systems.
Effective leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
Excellent customer service skills.
Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
Sales oriented.
Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Normal work hours: Varied to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
