Situated on seven picturesque acres, BELLA SERA (bellaserapgh.com) is a stylish banquet facility conveniently located 25 MINUTES SOUTH OF PITTSBURGH AND JUST ONE MILE FROM I-79. We are currently seeking experienced BANQUET SERVERS to join our talented team.
Our spacious Tuscan inspired villa accommodates wedding ceremonies & receptions, bridal/baby showers, graduation parties, corporate meetings & much more. We also offer spaces for small intimate gatherings.

POSITION:
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for set-up, break down and coordination of an entire station, communicating with front and back of the house taking personal responsibility of the entire guest experience
- Serve courses from the kitchen and service areas promptly ensuring accuracy of order
- Observe diners to ensure that guests are satisfied with food and service
- Respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed
- Perform assigned side work both before and after shift accounting for all equipment and supplies
- Adhere to all guidelines, procedures and established standards of conduct
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in banquets preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, & appropriate table settings and service ware
- Ability to adhere to and maintain service standards, understanding the concept of timing when serving food
- Able to work as a team
- Time management skills
- Able to carry trays
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs, lift, push/pull, or carry catering equipment
- Able to walk/stand for extended periods of time; most shifts are 8 to 10 hours
- Must be responsible, able to honor schedule commitments and be on time as scheduled
- Reliable transportation especially after 10:00p.m.
- Work varying schedules to reflect the business needs (nights, weekends and holidays)
- Neat well-groomed appearance required
