  • Responsibilities

    Bellows Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking to hire an experienced Outside Sales Consultant to profitably bid and close Water Treatment and Plumbing jobs for our rapidly growing company. You must have experience closing deals in the $10-30,000 range and selling to residential customers.

    We also expect that you're decently tech-savvy and know how to work a smartphone, iPad, and industry dispatch software.

    ROLE INCLUDES:

    • Produce business growth by profitably selling water treatment and general plumbing upgrades.

    • Make site visits for the leads we assign you or any that you organically generate through referrals.

    • Perform in-field water testing and provide recommendations to install water softeners, water conditioners, reverse osmosis, repipes, and plumbing upgrades.

    • Be knowledgeable in Plumbing terms, standards and codes.

    • Provide material lists and instructions to labor installers performing work.

    • Respond to customer inquiries regarding estimates.

    • When needed, coordinate with customers regarding job scheduling and payment.

    • Recommend and sell products and services where appropriate.

    • Perform duties inherent in all supervisory, professional and administrative positions.

    • Consistent with all positions in this classification, additional projects, tasks and/or duties beyond what is outlined here may be assigned as required.

    • Produce business growth by profitably selling plumbing installs and services, either through customer leads or organically.

    • Be knowledgeable in Plumbing terms, standards and codes.

    • Provide material lists and instructions to labor installers performing work.

    • Respond to customer inquiries regarding estimates.

    • When needed, coordinate with customers regarding job scheduling and payment.

    • Recommend and sell products and services where appropriate.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school degree or equivalent is required. At least two years of experience in sales.
    • Working knowledge of Water Softeners/Conditioners, Plumbing Installation and Piping,
    • HIS Certification is required.
    • A valid driver's license is required.
    • Proficiency using personal computers and standard business software is required.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
