    Job Description

    Empathetic, observant and gets things done are three ways to describe the kind of person we're looking for. This person will be an escalation resource, project focused, and assist with day-to-day support needs. Responsibilities

    • Be an escalation point for help desk resources
    • Assist and learn from other System Administrators on projects
    • Provide end user support in-person and over the phone on issues related to the Windows Operating system as well as related software and company specific software packages.
    • Work with client and internal vendors to support the success of projects
    • Monitor and maintain existing client equipment
    • Lead projects for the configuration and installation of new and upgraded equipment.
    • Provide excellent customer service, attitude, accountability, and ownership through problem resolution, closure and follow-up.
    • Document all issues in our support system and fully record details of problems.
    • Produce and maintain supporting documentation and user training materials.
    • This position can be remote by default or in the office but will require on-site visits locally within the Fresno area.
    • Limited travel within the Central Valley and Central Coast areas of California may be required from time to time for project work.

    Skills and Experience Required:

    • Knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Servers, Routing, and Networking protocols.
    • Ability to provide exceptional End User Technical Support
    • Ability to translate client goals into IT actions.
    • Strong organizational and listening skills as well as a team player mentality are required.
    • Excellent troubleshooter with the ability to learn new things.
    • Ability to remain flexible with work hours (i.e., after-hours support, etc.) will be required.
    • Good driving record and reliable transportation are required, but we'll pay for mileage and car washes.
    • A minimum of 2 years experience in related Information Technology field.

    Notes

    • We are looking for a long-term employee who will grow with the company as we grow and evolve.
    • A background check is required.

    Compensation:

    • Salary commensurate with experience. While we are looking for a Level 1 System Administrator, if you have higher level skills and are interested, please apply and we can discuss.
