Please understand that all roles will cross train in other support role positions and could be scheduled to work at any of our 3 full service restaurants located on the Belmont Park boardwalk! We are currently looking for: * HOSTS ** BUSSERS *** FOODRUNNERS Job Duties/Essential Functions: Greets and seats the customers upon their arrival. Ensures that the first experience guests receive is a warm friendly gesture welcoming them. Manages the flow of our busy door with confidence and warmth and is knowledgeable of server rotations. Works with management to make our door as strong, friendly, and helpful as possible Oversees our reservations on OpenTable. Takes ownership over menu organization. Helps the team deliver on the preferences of our many regular guests Keeps a dialogue with the kitchen before & during service. Assists in conflict resolution and troubleshooting regarding table wait times and food ticket times. Assists the servers with any help they may need when the customer arrives (ie: getting the drink order; dropping off silverware and making sure everyone has a menu in hand and bussing tables; running food and drinks when assisting the servers; rolling silverware). Delegates daily responsibility to the rest of the host team. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length. Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store stock, supplies and equipment as well as to work the line during service periods. Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, vendors and guests. Job Requirements: Applicants must be 18 years old and older. Applicants must be able to work 2 days out of the weekend.
