We are recruiting a Field Service Technician in Portland, OR on behalf of a nationwide, well established rental company with a great culture that treats their people right! We are looking for a person that will perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental equipment. This includes equipment such as: generators, air conditioners, air cooled chillers, diesel engines, dehumidifiers, and electrical distribution equipment.

Job Duties

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, gas, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment
• Perform loadbank tests and major/minor PMs
• Diagnose and repair all equipment in the rental fleet without supervision utilizing schematics and diagnostic programs
• When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
