Bemis Farms Preschool and Child Care Center is currently seeking a Substitute Teacher to join our team. Our center is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our center continues to operate smoothly and that our children receive the care and education they need.

Job Title: Assistant Teacher for Infants and Toddlers at Bemis Farms Preschool and Childcare Salary: $12.00 - $15.00 (split shift to be paid more) Hours: 7:15 AM to 2 PM

Responsibilities:

Follow lesson plans and classroom routines set by the lead teacher.

Engage children in age-appropriate activities promoting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Supervise children both indoors and outdoors to ensure their safety.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children.

Assist with mealtimes, diaper changes, and other daily routines as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 18 years of age.

Experience working with young children preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Patience, empathy, and a love for working with young children.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
