    Responsible for coordination of all emergency department core measures, performance improvement abstraction and education of clinical and medical staff related to clinical outcomes.  Position requires knowledge in performance improvement, clinical outcomes, and emergency nursing. Able to apply quality improvement methodologies for emergency services and select disease specific conditions in accordance with the organization’s Performance Improvement Plan. Coordinates the collection, compilation, display, and analysis of data to prepare summary reports of improvement activities to the functional teams, medical committees as assigned. Coordinates policy revision, order set build, and education as necessary to meet best practice initiatives.

    Required Experience

    • Current California Registered Nurse license
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
    • Minimum two years’ experience in acute care and emergency nursing
    • Evidence of continuing education and self-development
    • Computer literacy
