    ARE YOU OUR NEXT VMI MANAGER?

    THE OPPORTUNITY

    We are currently looking for a service professional to manage our VMI team.  The VMI Inventory Control Manager is responsible for all inventories moving through the customer dedicated sites from purchasing the material through delivery to the customer.  This position must be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.  This individual will be responsible for organizing and driving efficiencies with the VMI team.  The VMI Inventory Manager will implement new business, fix machines, assess material, layouts, meet with customers to set up new processes and/or continuous improvement processes.  This individual will spend about 35% to 40% in the field.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must have Vendor Managed Inventory knowledge/experience
    • Must have knowledge of Industrial MRO and Safety products
    • Must have excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Must have good leadership skills and experience managing a team
    • Ability to communicate with the customer, customer service reps and account reps in a professional manner
    • Must have good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office software
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds
    • Experience with SupplyPro and CribMaster
