    POSITION SUMMARY: 

    Vallen’s Inventory Warehouse Coordinator is an individual contributor that delivers and set up inventory at our premiere customer’s designated sites. Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in maintaining adequate material at customer point of use locations. Conducts inventory task in accordance with local Vendor Managed processes. You will have significant impact on our ability to ensure the product is in the right place at the right time!

     

    AS AN INVENTORY WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR, A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE A MIX OF THE FOLLOWING:

     

    • Scan barcodes to generate orders from Vallen's warehouse to customer point of use locations
    • Receives incoming material for count, specification, quality, and goods receipt.
    • Ensures the accuracy of shipments to the customer.
    • Delivers material to specified point of use area and puts the material away.
    • Takes customer spot buy orders when needed and relays the information to the CSR or AR.
    • Ensures that bar code labels are up to date and legible for scanners to read. Creates new barcode labels when needed.
    • Recommends changes to inventory levels based on usage
    • Maintains awareness of min/max, reorder point/quantity and reports observations back to managements.
    • 5S all VMI Point of Use areas.
    • Reports vehicles concerns to management
    • Presents information and respond to questions from clients, customers, and managers.
    • Performs other duties as requested.

     

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

    Education requirement:  High School diploma (GED) and a minimum of 1 year of relevant warehouse, inventory counting or delivery, experience.

    Relevant experience should include:

    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Willingness to learn and work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.
    • Must be a self-starter with the willingness to work with supervision.
    • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
    • Demonstrated ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner.
    • Possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution.
    • Must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with customers, co-workers and management.
    • Willing to gain knowledge of company products. Ability to represent Vallen in a professional manner projecting a Winning Team approach to customer service.

            

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • May be required to lift and carry up to 75 pounds; must have the ability to handle physical inventory that requires hand dexterity.
    • May work in extreme hot or cold environments; various facilities may have dusty conditions.

  • Qualifications
    • HVAC control systems service and repair experience.
    • Experience in servicing and maintaining of a wide variety of HVAC Control systems and air systems.
    • Good record keeping skills, dependability, and good physical condition. 
    • Good judgment, common sense, honest, reliable, ability to work with little or no direct supervision.
    • Identify potential problems during shift rounds, develop corrective actions, and provide adequate follow through.
