    The President of PIH Health Physicians (PHP) Medical Group Operations & HealthMed Services, Inc. (HMS) should be a mission-focused, seasoned, strategic and a process-minded leader with experience scaling an organization. The President must be a leader who is able to help others deliver measurable, cost-effective results that make the vision a reality. Importantly, the successful President will have the skills, sensitivity, and personal confidence to tap into the power that each member of the team brings to the vision. The President oversees medical foundation, healthcare management services organization, and overall execution of the Plan growth strategy. While it is essential that the President bring efficient and effective systems to increase the productivity of the organization, it is also critical that the team retains the creative teamwork that drives PHP and HMS. Understanding of strategic business units, group acquisitions, ACO and PHO development, managed healthcare, and revenue cycle are essential for success. This position reports directly to the System Chief Operating Officer.

     

     

    Required Skills

    • Strong working knowledge of the current ambulatory healthcare industry
    • Exceptional strategic and business analysis abilities
    • Strong financial management and computer skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Capability of earning respect, confidence and credibility of stockholders, peers and team members
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make presentations to various groups of the respective organization(s) and stockholders, including presentations to multiple Board of Directors

    Required Experience

     

    • Master’s Degree, preferable in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
    • Strong operational experience; ideally has worked in a senior management role for 10+ years in a socially responsible organization.
    • Skills should include organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning; demonstrated success developing and monitoring systems to manage both operational and programmatic work that involve high level collaboration.
    • Excellent people skills with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
