    THE OPPORTUNITY

    We are seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Associate to be responsible for maintaining and growing appropriate inventory at customer designated sites.  As a VMI Specialist, you will use a phone with scanner to order inventory and help maintain accurate inventory levels.  You will also make deliveries of products from the local branch to the customer locations using either a company van or a box truck.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Inventory control experience is required

    • Must have excellent presentation and communication skills

    • Must be able to work independently

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record

    • Ability to communicate with the customer, customer service reps and account reps in a professional manner

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    • Must have good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office software

    • Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds

    • Experience with VMI is highly desired

    1. General knowledge of use of personal computer and ability to learn operation software applications, i.e., METASYS Energy Management System.
    2. Knowledgeable of standards and codes applicable to health care facilities.
    3. Must be thoroughly familiar with tools and methods of trade.
    4. Able to read and follow blueprints
    5. MSDS information
    6. Knowledgeable of Life Safety code, NFDA and ADA requirements and specifications
