    This is a management position, under the direction of the Administrative Director of Medical/Surgical Services. Provide day to day coordination of department activities including the delivery of comprehensive care to patients and families.  The Manager for hemodialysis is responsible for the daily oversight of inpatient dialysis services, meeting all legal and regulatory agency requirements, compliance of clinical quality standards to provide efficient and safe patient care. Coordinates with administration, physicians, and nursing units to assure the provision of high quality, efficient service in a fiscally prudent manner. Provide care, education and support for patients suffering from acute and chronic renal (kidney) failure.  Supports the hemodialysis staff as appropriate to ensure continuity of care.

    Required Experience

    REQUIRED:

     

    • Current RN license
    • Current BLS and ACLS provider card
    • BSN degree
    • Evidence of continuing education

     

    PREFERRED:

    • MSN degree
    • Prior experience with hemodialysis
