    The Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst will report to the Manager, Master Data Management and will help drive the development and implementation of master data management solutions across the enterprise. This will include conducting testing and system validation to troubleshoot issues related to master data management processes and identify and implement process improvements and automation. This position will also be responsible for analyzing product data from external data providers to ensure data quality, recommending ways to strengthen data integrity, quality, and availability across the enterprise, and categorizing products into various classification standards including but not limited to ETIM, Sonepar product segmentation categories, e-commerce/web categories, taxonomic categories, and rationalizing/normalizing product attribute data across multiple consumer systems. The Master Data Management Analyst will also drive process changes and data reviews with functional data owners to provide best in class product content for all Sonepar ERP, data & analytics, and e-commerce systems.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-5 years experience in the wholesale electrical distribution, supply chain, data & analytics, or related field
    • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work; to follow a schedule of work and meet set targets with limited direct supervision using standard project management tools
    • Experience working with MDM/PIM platforms
    • Experience working with ERP and/or B2B/B2C e-commerce systems
    • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Information Systems/Technology or Engineering field or equivalent work experience

     

    Other skills/experience desired:

    • Experience in Master Data Management processes and systems
    • Proven understanding of Data Governance concepts and processes
    • Collaborative, problem-solving mindset
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time
    • Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis to data for decision support
    • Proficiency with Excel and MS Office Suite
