  • Responsibilities

    The Inventory Coordinator for Invasive Services coordinates expedites and controls inventory, equipment, instruments and supplies.

    Required Skills

    1. Ability to express written and oral ideas in a clear and concise manner.
    2. Knowledge of English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
    3. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
    4. Technical proficiency in the use of computers and software applications related to materials and financial analysis.
    5. Knowledge of or ability to learn materials management techniques for supplies, equipment, instruments and implants.
    6. Ability to seek out new methods and principles to improve services.
    7. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
    8. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

    Required Experience

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

    One year of experience with inventory management and control preferably in a perioperative or invasive service setting.

     

    LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION:

    None.

     

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

    High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
