    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Rockwell Product Specialist develops business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for assigned Rockwell product lines. Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products. Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.  Responsible for the entire Rockwell business portfolio in an assigned territory within OneSource’s Rockwell APR (Orange County, San Diego County, Yuma, Hawaii, and El Centro).  Coordinates activities with other Product Management team members to achieve consistency of product usability, customer service, product look/feel, quality and system integrity.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Fundamentally, this position must “own” the business and all aspects required to attains sales objectives for branch/area.
    • This role is a Leadership role and you are the driver in this segment for all mutually agreed upon Rockwell growth initiatives
    • Heavy Customer Facing Assignment- Minimum of (15) Sales Calls per week to target account list
    • CRM Funnel- Logging ALL sales opportunities weekly. Maintain the funnel with current comments and action items
    • Business Development – Identify new customers and penetrate existing customers for growth in the above listed products
    • Perform Sales calls on end customers, OEM’s and System Integrators to identify and close opportunities; both joint (with our outside team and solo). Calls with Rockwell Automation are required on target identified accounts
    • Ensure sufficient opportunities to meet sales goals
    • Collaboration with Rockwell – pull in appropriate resources to close opportunities
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for FSR’s in the following areas:
      • Pricing support
      • Technical product features and benefits
      • Commercial support
    • Introduce and demonstrate new products to accounts
    • Develop strong vendor relationships
    • Develop superior product knowledge to assist customer with product application
    • Demand Creation – Marketing activities such as website updates, email campaigns and seminars
    • Attend internal OneSource sales team training for inside, outside sales as well as related product managers
    • Training – online web enabled Rockwell courses, work with local Rockwell resources and factory-based class environments
    • Inventory management in conjunction with OneSource purchasing
    • Proficiency with Rockwell’s Proposal Works software
    • Products / Solutions Rockwell HOTT training: requires travel to various courses.
    • Participate in monthly business and opportunity reviews with Sales Management Team
    • Other duties and/or projects as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

            EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University or
    • 3 - 5 years' and/or training; or
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Qualifications
    • Cognizant of home health aide standards of care, including, but not limited to specific observations, documentation and reporting to professional nurse or therapist of such observations.
    • Basic computer knowledge and abilities.
