Today’s world can be intense and stressful, and it’s taking an unprecedented toll on kids, teens, and families. Bend Health’s collaborative care model relies on therapy to help families manage the ups and downs of everyday life. These challenges could involve managing emotions, challenging negative thinking, and reducing stress and anxiety.
We are looking for a PSYCHOMETRIST passionate about whole-person, whole-family mental health care to join our clinical team. This position reports to the Medical Director.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Work with kids and teens, as well as their families, by performing neuropsychological testing batteries under the supervision of licensed staff
Prepare test materials, collect history of child’s family (when appropriate) and score tests and record scores
Work collaboratively as a team with the patient’s psychologist, therapist and/or psychiatrist.
Have proven results in working with others.
Be comfortable with analytics, detail-oriented and process-focused.
Comfortable completing virtual sessions, asynchronously or synchronously
Team-oriented, high energy and driven for results
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor degree in Psychology or closely related field
2+ years of experience in administering psychometric testing preferred
Experience with using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2)
Have a passion for helping improve the lives of children, teens and, their families
Familiarity with online web-based applications
Experience working in a virtual office situation
Solid reading and writing skills in English
Possess effective therapeutic communication skills
