We are now in search of an attorney with at least five years of business litigation experience to join our litigation group. Work includes: drafting complaints, navigating inbound and outgoing discovery, preparing and filing motions, preparing conducting and analyzing depositions. There will be direct client meetings, discussions and correspondence which is nearly always virtual. There could be limited court appearances by Zoom expected for the experienced litigator who will excel at law and motion, trial prep and dispositive motion work. In-court trial experience, and conducting mediation and arbitration hearings can also be part of your work at Bend Law. Responsibilities: • Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses • Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts • Navigating inbound and outgoing discovery • Preparing conducting and analyzing depositions • Client meetings, discussions and correspondence which is nearly always virtual • Mostly virtual mediation, arbitration and court appearances Qualifications: • Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload • At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney • Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree) • Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations • Must be licensed in California Compensation: $150,000 - $220,000 yearly
